Department of Music

  1. Encourage the student to participate in Government programmes.
  2. Deputing the student to other state under cultural exchange programme.
  3. Training the student to participate in Music competition / festivals organised at local/national levels.
  4. Arranging of study tour to make the student to visit other colleges in Tamil Nadu/ kerala.
  5. Training the student to learn the other Music forms of Folk Music, Tamil Isai and theatre arts.
  6. Deputing the student to Bal Bhavan to handle the summer classes in Music to the children during May and June months Every Year
  7. Arranging of Seminar and workshop every year on Music oriented themes.
  8. Conducting of Music Festivals like Music Trinity festival, Navarathiri festival ,Sivarathiri festival, Tamil Isai festival at regular interval.
  9. Deputing the students to perform Invocation song for the birth/death anniversary function of great leaders organized by the government of Puducherry.

  • Visual Art means, the art which is penetrating in everyone's eyes visibly. It concerns primarily with the creation of beauty by expressing one's own emotions, sensations, feelings in simple and attractive way and the creations could be seen visually.

Dance

  • It is an traditional art of moving the body in a rhythematical way in accordance with the music and lyrics to express an idea or narrate a story. It is one of the oldest art forms being found in virtually in every culture. It is a channel of communication to express the feelings, emotions, sensation and humor without word.

Music

  • Music is an art form of short and crisply as a harmonious sound. Music is divine and touches the lives of one who gives and the one who receive it. It is a shortest path to reach the God. The music which pleases our ears has harmony, pitch, rhythm, tempo and melody.
