Visual Art means, the art which is penetrating in everyone's eyes visibly. It concerns primarily with the creation of beauty by expressing one's own emotions, sensations, feelings in simple and attractive way and the creations could be seen visually. Visual art comprises of drawing, painting, applied art, plastic art, sculpture, graphic art, print making, designing, textile, pottery, typography, photography and illustration art (animation). There is a growing demand for the visual art education in recent years and many employment opportunities are opening up and the students graduated from these courses are inducting themselves both in Govt. and private sectors as Artist, Designer, Animator, Illustrator, Moulder and Modeller, Sculptor, Textile Designer. The students after learning this art are not only getting employment for himself and also for others.

Duration of the Course - 4 years - (Eight Semesters) - CBCS Pattern

Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA) is being awarded to the students who wish to procure degree in the field of Fine Arts by choosing any one of the above subjects as their Main Subject.

Eligibility for Admission:

Pass in Higher Secondary Course (+2) or its equivalent.
Age Limit: upto 23 years (Relaxable upto 3 years for SC/ST Candidates)
Selection Procedure: On the basis of the marks obtained in the Aptitude Test conducted by the Institution.
Sale of Application: Application will be used upto 30th June of every academic year.
Last date for submission of Filled in Applications: 2 nd week of July.
Interview and Selection: 3 rd week of July.
Academic Session Starts from 1 st week of August.

Dance

It is an traditional art of moving the body in a rhythematical way in accordance with the music and lyrics to express an idea or narrate a story. It is one of the oldest art forms being found in virtually in every culture. It is a channel of communication to express the feelings, emotions, sensation and humor without word.

Music

Music is an art form of short and crisply as a harmonious sound. Music is divine and touches the lives of one who gives and the one who receive it. It is a shortest path to reach the God. The music which pleases our ears has harmony, pitch, rhythm, tempo and melody.
