To carry out the probagation of Art & Culture, among the Citizen of Puducherry. To establish a memorial Institution in Puducherry in the name of the Great Tamil Poet Subramania Bharathi exclusively for the development of Music, Dance and Fine Arts Courses in Puducherry.
To train the South Indian Art of Karnatic Music, Bharathanatyam, Painting, Sculpture and Visual Arts to the enger generation who have more Interest in the said discipline to make talented students as Professional Artist in Music, Dance and Fine Arts for getting employment in Govt. and Private concern as an artst and to establish their own academy in Music, Dance and Fine Arts.
This Institution is situated in Ariyankuppam, 6 Kms. Away from Pondicherry and 16 Kms., towards north from Cuddalore.
BPA Music — 4 year duration (CBSC Pattern).
BPA Dance — 4 year duration (CBSC Pattern).
BVA Visual Arts — years duration (CBSC Pattern).
Besides 3 year Diploma courses in Nadeswaram and Thavil are also conducted. There is a 6 month evening Part-Time Course in Music and Painting at three levels is also conducted.
This is the only one Institution in the South India offering Music, Dance and Fine Arts Degree courses under one campus.
Tuition Fee is exempted for the benefit of the students.
Choice Based Credit system syllabus is encorced from the academic year 2017-18.
